Churchill Tower
CT 203: Level 3 Classroom
This room now features a new LCD projector (native 1024 x 768, 4:3 aspect ratio) and laptop connectivity via HDMI cable to compliment the exisiting equipment. The LCD projector is controlled via remote control. Additionally, the resident computer, DVD/VCR combo unit, and laptop cables were moved into a new instructor's station, which allows for the computer monitor to be recessed into the table to provide clear sightlines of the chalkboard for all students.

CT 204: Level 3 Classroom
This room now features laptop connectivity via HDMI cable to compliment the exisiting equipment. Additionally, the resident computer, Blu-ray player, and laptop cables were moved into a new instructor's station, which allows for the computer monitor to be recessed into the table to provide clear sightlines of the chalkboard for all students.

The VHS VCR was removed.

LY 315: Level 3 Classroom
The MacBook was removed and replaced by a Mac Mini by User Services. A wireless mouse and keyboard are provided for use with the Mac Mini.

SH 064 is a brand new Level 3 classroom. It features a LCD projector (native 1280 x 800, 16:10 aspect ratio), pull-down projection screen, resident PC computer, EPSON DC-06 document camera, laptop connectivity (VGA & HDMI), and auxiliary composite A/V cables. All of the equipment is housed in a mobile cart and is controlled via an Extron Control Panel.

SH 1015 (Institute for Autism Research Observation Rooms)
Installed ceiling microphones, amplifiers, and listening stations to allow for those in the observation rooms to hear into the treatment rooms.

SH 1027: Level 5 Classroom (Golden Griffin Sports Broadcast Center)
Build-out and installation of the new control room for the live production of Canisius athletic events for ESPN3 was handled by Sports Display System, Inc. The existing ceiling-mounted LCD projector, motorized projection screen, resident PC computer, document camera, Blu-ray player, and laptop connectivity (VGA & HDMI) remain.


SH 1030: Level 4 Classroom
The rack-mounted Mac Mini and SMART Board Interactive Whiteboard were removed. A new whiteboard, which still acts as the projection surface, was installed in place of the SMART Board.

The SMART Board Interactive Whiteboard and LCD projector (native 1024 x 768, 4:3 aspect ratio) from the former Frisch Hall Conference Room were removed and installed in the Dugan Hall Conference Room. VGA and USB cables are provided for connecting a laptop for display on the SMART Board.

The recording equipment in the Literacy Center was upgraded and streamlined. A new networked DVR has replaced the older Crestron control system and VHS VCRs originally installed for recording the observation suites.

The equipment is controlled via a Crestron Touch Panel, which is mounted on lectern.

SH 1008: Level 4 Classroom
The resident computer has been switched from a Mac Mini to a PC. In addition, the student computers have been switched from iMacs to PCs.

BL LC: Level 2 Classroom
The Bouhwuis Library Learning Center is a brand new classroom. It features an LCD projector (native 1280 x 800, 16:10 aspect ratio), SMART Board Interactive Whiteboard, Wolfvision VZ-3 document camera, Blu-ray player, and laptop connectivity (VGA & HDMI). A laptop with the SMART Board software installed is needed in order to utilize the interactive features of the whiteboard. The equipment is controlled via a wall-mounted Crestron Touch Panel, which is located behind the instructor's table. In addition, two wall-mounted LCD TVs are available for collaborative group work (necessary cables for connecting a laptop are available from the Library Staff). OM 422 now features a new Crestron Touch Panel, new audio mixer, new observation suite video camera, and a Crestron Capture HD unit to compliment previously available equipment (ceiling-mounted LCD projector, resident PC computer, DVD player, VHS VCR, and laptop connectivity (VGA).

The Crestron Capture HD replaces the VCR used for recording of OM 422's observation suite. Video from the observation suite is no longer recorded to a VHS tape but rather saved to either a faculty- or student-provided USB thumb drive.

Apple TV will be installed during January '14 for wireless display of content from any Apple device (MacBook, iPhone, iPad, etc.) on the ceiling-mounted LCD projectors.

Additionally, a LED TV is available for small group use on the table in the back of the room.

The former Language Lab location has become the new home of The Tutoring Center. The previous instructional technology remains.

SH 019 (Physics Mechanics Lab): Level 2 Classroom
SH 019 is a brand new Level 2 classroom. It features two ceiling-mounted LCD projectors (16:9 aspect ratio), motorized projection screens, and laptop connectivity (VGA, HDMI, & DisplayPort). The equipment is controlled via a Crestron Hard Button Panel, which is located behind the room's flip-down shelf. Cables for connecting a laptop must be connected to the wall plate after lowering the flip-down shelf.

SH 032 (Physics Optics Lab): Level 2 Classroom
SH 032 is a brand new Level 2 classroom. It features a ceiling-mounted LCD projector (16:9 aspect ratio), motorized projection screen, and laptop connectivity (VGA, HDMI, & DisplayPort). The equipment is controlled via a Crestron Hard Button Panel, which is located behind the room's flip-down shelf.
